Translators Associations North AmericaThe United States of America, one of the most powerful countries in the world, is famous for the part it plays in both the world’s political and economic decisions, but also for its culture. This federal constitutional republic comprises fifty states and a federal district (its capital, Washington DC). There are over 300 million people living in the USA, coming from many different parts of the world.

One of the most important translation association in the country is TTIG, based in Washington DC. Another American translators association is the one that concerns judiciary translators and interpreters, NAJIT. There is also the translation association concerning Machine Translation in the Americas, AMTA.
