You can now register online, on the translators association website, as well as read more about the programme for the meeting, whose theme is “interpreting the future”.

During the event, several lectures and workshops are scheduled, with themes such as specialization, legal translation, court interpretation, tools, translation techniques, interculturality, translation for the media, project management, contracts, literary translation and professional posture, amongst other subjects. All of these are fundamental themes for the future of translation and interpretation.

Parallel to the conference, there will be a market with translation companies, which will work as employment exchange, where you may establish valuable contacts.

The first international conference organized by the German Interpreters and Translators Association happened in 2009, also in Berlin, and had the participation of over 1.600 professionals, from more than 40 countries. Expectations for the September event are thus high.
