Malaysia: Translators Associations from the land of Yong Mun Sen

Malaysia is a federal constitutional monarchy in Southeast Asia. It consists of thirteen states and three federal territories. It has a total landmass of 329,847 square kilometres. The origins of Malaysia reside in the Malay Kingdoms present in the area which, from the 18th century, became subject to the British Empire. Before that, the Portuguese and the Dutch had colonised the region. The country, with a population of over 27 million people, is multi-ethnic and multi-cultural, which plays a large role in politics. Traditional Malaysian art has been mainly centred around the areas of carving, weaving, and silversmithing.
