South Korea: Translators Associations from the homeland of Park Min-gyu

South Korea (officially the Republic of Korea) is is a sovereign state in the southern part of the Korean Peninsula. Its name derives from Goryeo, a dynasty that ruled in the Middle Ages. South Korea is a presidential republic that consists of sixteen administrative divisions. It is a developed country with a very high standard of living. South Korean economy is Asia’s fourth largest and ranked 15th in the world. Historically, while the culture of Korea has been heavily influenced by its neighbour, China, it has nevertheless managed to develop a unique cultural identity that is unique. It has almost 48 million inhabitants.
