Translators Associations Europe: CETIECAPThe Company of Expert Translators and Interpreters Working in Paris Court of Appeal (Compagnie des Experts Traducteurs et Interprètes en Exercice près la Cour d'Appel de Paris) brings together practicing expert translators and interpreters that are on the list of this judicial institution. CETIECAP currently has 153 members.

This translation association was established to defend experts working at Paris Court of Appeal and protect them against any misuse or perversion.

Its first objective is to defend, by every means of the law, the collective interests of its members.

This translation association promotes networking support between its members and provides communication with the judicial authorities. Members receive regular information to help them in their office, by mail or email and trough the Members Area of CETIECAP’s website.

CETIECAP is a member of UCECAP (Union des Compagnies d'Experts près la Cour d'Appel de Paris) and this allows members to follow, for a small fee, the mandatory training required by French regulators.

This translators association welcomes only individuals. Practicing expert translators and interpreters are required to justify the legitimacy of their position in a written request pay the annual dues (100 Euros). The membership application should include your name, address, language registration at the Paris Court of Appeal and translator/interpreter specialty, and email contact.
