Switzerland: Translators Associations from the country of Hermann HesseSwitzerland is famous worldwide for its snowy landscapes, but its also become known for being the world’s capital for money and watches. Lake Geneva is one of the largest lakes in Europe, uniting Switzerland and France. The country, in its full name the Swiss Confederation, is a federal republic consisting of 26 cantons, with Bern as the centre of political decision. Language-wise, it is divided in three (four with Romansch): German, French and Italian speaking population. As a whole, it has 8 million inhabitants.
